Transportation burden

ParaTransit is externally generated exposure, and ride length alone does not describe its mechanical character. The frozen 59-ride reference supplies duration and one-minute distributions. May 23 was prolonged and escalated late; corrected October 2 was of ordinary-range duration but had unusually persistent corrected jerk. October 2 remains an operator-confirmed prospective observation with Strava corroboration pending, not a member of the frozen reference. Vehicle and body-coupling comparisons have their own governed cohorts. In an exploratory same-event subset, high seated activity-mean HR accompanied lower HRV summaries without a consistent ride-level mechanics shift. HR and HRV are separate physiology context; neither they nor acceleration directly measure pain. Expand each comparison for its denominator, units, window definition, uncertainty, and source identity.

Exploratory physiology signal

High seated HR and separate HRV context

Subject-specific investigation reference prompted by unexpectedly high cardiovascular response while seated in externally generated transportation; not a universal clinical or pain threshold.

Accepted same-event links: 11 higher-HR and 44 lower-HR sessions. High-minus-lower medians: RMSSD -26.93 ms, SDNN -36.76 ms, pNN50 -7.79 percentage points. RMS, corrected jerk, shock, cumulative shock and duration did not show a clear corresponding group shift; date-block intervals cross zero.

Accepted same-event links are an exploratory subset. HR and HRV do not measure pain; no separately governed same-event pain or seat context is linked. Continuing prospective data will test whether this separation persists.
